Modern Home Tour Fundraiser Event

We have a great reputation in Vancouver and have had numerous partnerships to share skills and learn about professional practice by volunteering with events, including the Western Living  Magazine team. As a result, the KPU Fashion Marketing program was referred to Manhattan, NY-based PR Web. They are the organizers of Vancouver’s Modern Home Tour this year.

Nick Knacks

Nick Knacks

Hi folks, this is Nick, your former program assistant.

I am moving on from my position in the Graphic Design for Marketing program. However, since I’m downsizing from a multiple award-winning office to a single desk, my loss has become your gain! This is is your chance to own a piece of Nickopedia memorabilia, and it all it takes is a donation to charity. Simply peruse the photos in this Facebook group, and when you see something you want, comment with your bid.

Everything must go! Bidding closes Wednesday, July 17 at midnight, and if you win, you make an easy donation though this Chimp giving group, where all proceeds are split between the Kwantlen Foundation and Union Gospel Mission.

Lastly, I really have no room for this stuff, so any item not picked up by Friday July 19 will go to the next highest bidder. Have fun!

Potluck Café Silent Auction Donations

We’re calling on you to help us make some desirable baskets for a silent auction at our grad show!

The graduating class of Graphic Design for Marketing is raising donations for a downtown east-side (DTES) non-profit organization called Potluck Café Society. They provide nutritious meals to residents of the DTES as well as job training and employment opportunities.

A couple suggestions we have for your consideration are:

Jewelry, hand/body lotion, wine, candles, wine glasses, headphones, chocolates….perhaps regift your unwanted Christmas presents?

Please submit donations to Shannon in room 3078, or Juilien and Radka in room 3050  on, or before, April 11th.

Thank you in advance for your generosity! We’ll see you at The Exchange— April 15th – 17th at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond.
